Story

Santa Monica will always have a special place in my heart. Back in 2012, I started an internship at the Pico Youth & Family Center in SM. I was there a minimum of 2 times a week. At first, I was doing it because I needed it for school credit. The PYFC had a recording studio but I was hesitant to join the community the center had built. I was an outsider. As time went on, I met people and the city became a 2nd home. Soulreal still lives there so I always find myself going to SM.

This shoot was random. I didn’t expect to catch this many dope pictures at night. It was one of my 1st shoots in 2023. I got to chill with Soulreal and the homie Marcos. We walked on the 3rd St. Promenade, The Pier, and grabbed some food. A simple day made a lot of memories. The picture of all the people walking on The Pier is still one of my favorite pics till this day.
