2022 Photoshoots | Photography

Story

In 2022, I was actively trying to make a name for myself in the underground scene. I had a whole plan. Release 3 song EPs, music videos, lyric videos, photoshoots, and other types of content. I had a camera, time, money, and the people to help me out. My music had evolved into something different by this point. I was getting my music mixed and mastered instead of dropping raw files onto Soundcloud. These pictures were taken in the span of a couple of months. Shoutout to my cousin Drone who took the majority of these pictures.

The first 9 pictures were taken as a part of a photoshoot to promote the music video for my song “You’ll Still”. This was also the longest I’ve ever let my hair grow out. I had also started a clothing brand called “Stay Rowdy” so I was using the music video to promote the clothing brand as well. We took them in my room / studio which I refer to as The Ozone Layer.

The next 12 pictures were taken as a part of a photoshoot to promote the music video for my song “Scorpion Death Drop”. I had shaved my head by this point. We took most of these pictures in front of a mural on E. Pico Blvd and S. Evergreen Ave. The ones where I’m standing at the top of some steps were taken on the 4th St. Bridge above Mateo St. and S. Santa Fe Ave.

The last 6 pictures were taken while I was filming a visualizer / music video for my song “My Fresh 90s”. The picture where I’m taking a swig and the homie Chino66 is climbing the ladder is one of my favorite pictures of all time. We took that next to some train tracks by the old Sears on Soto and Olympic. I don’t remember too much from this day because we ended up at Boomtown Brewery and I blacked out.
