Story

This day is probably one of the most important days of my life. This is the last time I drank. At this point in the year, I was towards the end of a journey. I was shifting. My mentality was changing. My interests began to change. I was heartbroken but rebuilding myself. I knew that my drinking days were over. I just had no idea it was going to happen after such a random day. I thought I was going to have a giant party before quitting. The universe had other plans for me.

Maaa boii DSteezy hit me up on a Friday asking me if I could help him write some lyrics in Spanish. I never “ghostwrote” for anyone but DSteezy needed my help and I was down to help. I remember pulling up with no intention to drink. I was still having a hard time integrating into the world again. I felt weird but in my element. The lyrics came to me so easily.

A 30 rack of Bud Light and shots of TheKilla later, a new path was forged. I just didn’t see until months later when I came to the realization as to what was happening. Fast forward a year later, the day of this photoshoot's anniversary, I realized that November 3 is also my Grandma’s (RIP) birthday.
