DTLA Art Night - March 2026 | Vlog

Story

I didn’t do anything crazy during Spring Break 2026 but I did go to Downtown LA’s March Art Night. Another classic Chino66 and Othree mission. Trip out, this was probably the 1st mission we did since like 2022. We changed a lot since then but it felt like old times kicking it with the homie. I found out about this event through Instagram and decided to meet up with Chino to see wassup. They host these “Art Night” events every 1st Thursday of the month around the area of 5th & Spring. You get a little map with all the possible stops you can make. Galleries, a bookstore, drinks, and more.

The 1st stop was at the Spring St. Arcade in between Spring and Broadway. It’s a cool little spot where vendors set up. Almost like a night market but without the food. We both bought some art and self-care products. It’s a dope vibe at that place. The people we met were koo. I even recognized one of the vendors as a rapper, Veks, that I used to listen to in High School. I got to chop it up with him about music for a bit which is usually always an interesting conversation.

We stopped at a lot of art galleries. Now, I’m not an art expert or anything, but the majority of the stuff that I saw was art that I would display in my house. It wasn’t corny like the art in museums. These pieces we saw had heart and soul. All and all, we hit about 5 - 6 galleries throughout the night. I won’t lie though, by the end, I was tapped out from looking at art. I couldn’t handle another gallery.

Going to The Last Bookstore is always fun. I have to walk out with a book, mando. I showed Chino how I choose my books sometimes. There’s a little ritual that I do in my head to pick a book. This time around, I picked out a Romance book. That will be the 1st Romance book I read. I gotta do it. I also got to leave a couple of Baby Foo stickers around on different shelves for people to collect. If you’ve never been there, I recommend you go.
