A couple of years ago when my cousin Chunky started his collectibles business, he invited me to go to this place in the City of Industry called Frank and Son Collectible Show. He described it as a swapmeet for collectibles. I didn’t understand what he meant until I actually went. I was in shock. The videos and images don’t do it justice. You have to go there in person. There’s a booth for everyone. Anime, wrestling, horror, cartoons, sports memorabilia, cards, etc. I’m not one to spend my money on things I don’t need but this place always tempts me to leave with something expensive for no reason. I have seen my cousin drop feria on figures I would never see myself owning. I remember once, someone bought a giant sized God of War figure. Foo they needed a dolly to carry it out. It’s a beautiful place if you’re into that stuff.
I knew that Frank and Son, or as I call it Frank n Sons, was a place that I needed to go and take pictures of. The perfect place to go and flick up. That is how these pictures came to be. My favorite one is probably the one of the Star Wars figure dressed up like a foo. Never a dull moment when I visit this place.
